Background

Mike Stoker is an agricultural law attorney. Stoker served on the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors and formerly served as Majority Counsel to Congress, Chairman of the CA Agricultural Labor Relations Board and CA Deputy Secretary of State. Stoker was named "Most Valuable Public Official in County Government in America" by Governing Magazine in 1993. Stoker, on a consulting basis, currently serves as Director of Governmental Relations for UnitedAg, a state agricultural association representing over 40,000 agricultural employees.

Stoker serves or has served on the CASA, Boys & Girls Club, United Way, Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation, Boy Scouts of America Mission Council and Santa Barbara YMCA Board of Directors.

Mike Stoker resides in Carpinteria, CA and has a son and daughter, Brandon and Courtlin Stoker. Brandon resides in Santa Maria, CA, and Courtlin resides in Cambridge, England.
