Background

Mark Hoddle is a University of California Extension Specialist in biological control in the Department of Entomology at UC Riverside. Hoddle works on the biological control of invasive pests of importance to agriculture, wilderness, and urban areas. Current projects include the biological control of Asian citrus psyllid, invasion ecology of non-native palm weevils, biological control of the brown marmorated stink bug, and biology and management of avocado pests (see www.biocontrol.ucr.edu). Hoddle is the Director for the Center for Invasive Species Research (www.cisr.ucr.edu) at UC Riverside.
