Grace Adams

Executive Director
Bolsa Chica Conservancy

Background

Grace Adams has led the Bolsa Chica Conservancy since 2003. In her role as the Conservancy’s Executive Director, she is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s operations, program development and administration, marketing and fundraising. Over the past thirteen years, Grace has expanded the BCC’s education and habitat restoration programs, creating initiatives that stimulate interest and understanding in STEM disciplines and habitat restoration. As its administrator, she has strengthened its financial and organizational capabilities since taking its helm in 2003. Prior to joining the BCC, Grace has a 28-year history of leadership in non-profit and for-profit businesses in multiple industries, including start-ups to global Fortune 500 companies like Honeywell International.

Grace has a Bachelor of Science degree in tourism administration from the University of the Philippines and has completed executive leadership programs from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, San Francisco Academy of Communications Executives and University of California at Berkeley. She currently serves on Chapman University’s Schmid School of Science and Technology Advisory Council and the board of directors of Visit Huntington Beach. When not advocating for the Conservancy, Grace is an avid soccer mom and scout leader who loves hiking, music and theater.
